VICTORIAN FRAME WITH BROWN-SPONGED SURFACE
Circa 1885

These small print frames were made by the thousands in the Victorian Period and they come in a infinite variety of surfaces. I am showing a couple of them here and I have more in my inventory. They would make a nice period wall grouping for a modest price. The profile curves inward toward the gilded sight edge. The outside edge is painted matte black. Mitered corners.
