GILDED PRINT FRAME Circa 1870-1880 This drawing frame has a simple squared profile with a sanded surface, which is oil gilded. It is edged with contrasting smooth and shiny silver gilt. The frame has a maroon velvet-covered liner. Mitered corners. Rabbet size 26"H x 30"W Total molding width 3" Depth at outside edge 1" Condition: very good condition, with age-appropriate surface wear and small gesso losses in the corners.
