EDWARDIAN VENEER FRAME CIRCA 1895 With its mahogany veneered surface, this frame has as earlier feel to it. The mahogany has good pattern and color, which contrasts nicely with the gilded compo ornament on the outer edge. Shallow ogee profile. Dark brown painted outside edges. Rabbet size 13"H x 10 1/2"W Molding width 1 1/2" Outside dimensions 16"H x 13 1/4"W Condition: good overall condition; the gilding is worn and there are a few small gaps in the compo; veneer missing in the center of the bottom rail.
