Mary Webster--Aesthetic Stock #6 EBONIZED EASTLAKE FRAME

  • An exceptional Eastlake frame with a brilliant ebonized surface. The spoon-carving looks ahead to the naturalistic tendencies of the Aesthetic Period, with the leaves in the corners of the inner molding. This massive frame consists of four parts, two ebonized moldings contrasting with two silver-gilded moldings.

  • Sight size 11 1/4"H x 9 1/2"W
  • Overall size 19 1/2"H x 16 1/4"W
  • Molding width 4"
  • Molding depth at outside edge 3 3/4"
  • Condition: very good condition with slight surface wear and a bit of missing gesso in each of the four corners.
