  • The Hogarth profile was popular in England throughout the 19th Century for framing works of art on paper. The nail holes in the rabbet of this example give it some age. Ebonized molding with gilded ornament; mitered corners.

  • Height at outside edge 1/2"
  • Condition: very good early finish with minor dings and small gesso losses in the corners; miters a little loose.
