  • Good painting frame with generous width; gold leaf over red bole; characteristic American ogee profile; mitered colors; old ochre paint on molded outside edges.

  • Sight size 19"H x 24 3/4"W
  • Molding width 2 1/2"
  • Depth at outside edge 1 1/2"
  • Condition: good overall condition, with age appropriate wear; very minor gesso losses; quite a bit of rubthrough, including exposure of the gesso along the sight edge; rabbet routed out a little on all four sides (see detail photo); corners reinforced with round-headed nails.
