Circa 1840

  • A very nice folk art frame in well-figured bird's eye maple veneer. The profile is flat with squared edges. The corners are mitered and secured with square-headed nails. Period brass hanging hook.
  • Rabbet size 16"H X 13"W
  • Molding width 2"
  • Outside dimensions 19 3/8"H x 16 3/8" W
  • Sight size 15 3/4"H x 12 3/4"W
  • Condition: very good with age-appropriate wear. Miters a little loose. Note veneer loss in bottom two corners.
