Mary Webster--Folk Art Stock #3 Marquetry Frame
Circa 1925


  • Unique early 20th Century marquetry frame with strips of darker wood inlaid on a flat golden pine(?) panel. The outside edge is attached with nails, and a strip of beading is nestled just inside. The heavy oak backing board is attached with screws.
  • Rabbet size 9 3/4"H x 7 3/4"W
  • Molding width 2"
  • Depth at outside edge 1"
  • Overall size 13 1/8"H x 11 1/4"W
  • Sight size 9 1/8" x 7 1/4"
  • Condition: very good. The beading is chipped and cracked in a couple of places, but it is barely noticeable.
