GILDED RIPPLE Circa 1850 The first of four gilded ripple frames I am posting. I love the simplicity of this one, more a rope than a ripple along the outer edge, with a slightly concave sight edge. The surface is bright yellow silver gilt. Mitered corners. The outside edges are painted dull ochre.
