Circa 1850

  • Lemon gold ripple frame. The surface is silver-gilded, which accounts for the dark spots. The rippled details on either side of the sticks are highly burnished, while the cove is matte, making for a nice contrast. The outside edges are painted dull ochre.

  • Sight size 6 3/4"H x 8 3/8"W
  • Overall size 9 1/2"H x 11"W
  • Molding width 1 1/4"
  • Depth at outside edge 1"
  • Condition: very good with age appropriate surface wear; small gesso losses in the corners. The frame was resized at some time in its history.
