  • The largest of the recent arrivals in the rippled style, which was so popular in the Mid-Nineteenth Century. The finish on this frame is quite dark with reddish-brown highlights. The frame has a flat English gilded liner, which accounts for the disparity between the sight and rabbet sizes. Mitered corners. The outside edges are painted matte black.

  • Condition: very good with age-appropriate wear. The silver-gilded liner has a fair amount of tarnish, as noted in the detail photos.
