Circa 1850


  • A fine-looking double-rippled molding in bright yellow silver leaf, with a cove in a contrasting warmer color. Mitered corners. The outside edges have traces of old ochre paint. A nice deep rabbet at 3/4".
  • Rabbet size 20 1/8"H x 15 1/8"W
  • Sight size 19 3/8"H x 14 3/8"W
  • Overall size 22 1/2"H x 17 1/2"W
  • Molding width 1 1/2"
  • Molding depth at outside edge 1"
  • Condition: great original surface; unfortunately there is gesso loss along the outer edge of one long side. You could either live with it or eliminate that long stick and made one or two smaller frames.
