Dutch Ripple Circa 1850 A fine-looking double-rippled molding in bright yellow silver leaf, with a cove in a contrasting warmer color. Mitered corners. The outside edges have traces of old ochre paint. A nice deep rabbet at 3/4". Rabbet size 20 1/8"H x 15 1/8"W Sight size 19 3/8"H x 14 3/8"W Overall size 22 1/2"H x 17 1/2"W Molding width 1 1/2" Molding depth at outside edge 1" Condition: great original surface; unfortunately there is gesso loss along the outer edge of one long side.
